Christmas Time

The past couple of weeks have been so much fun.
We have been really busy with the holidays and we have enjoyed every second of it.

First of all we celebrated our 2 year Anniversary at the Happy Sumo.
That has become our celebration place for so many reasons.
It's the first place we went out to eat on a date, it's where we ate the night Brad proposed, and it's where we go for our birthdays.
Sushi is just so yummy that we can never get enough.
Here is my hot hubby at Happy Sumo:

I could write a whole book about why I love Brad.
Don't worry; I won't do that here.
I will however say that I love him more every day and I'm so happy to have him as my best friend AND husband.
Every day is an adventure and I'm so grateful I get to share it with him.
Here I am at Happy Sumo:
Brad really liked the flower on our table.

Here are the yummy sushi rolls we ordered!

We also have been spending so much time together as the 4 of us. (Winston included)
Brad is done with school and hasn't had work so we've had so much time to just relax and enjoy being a little family.
On Christmas Eve we made a yummy dinner for the 3 of us.
I can't tell you how special that night was for me.
It made me so excited to start having our own traditions that we can pass on to our future children.
It made me excited to have more children too :)
After dinner we had peppermint ice cream brownie sundaes and watched "Elf".
It's a fun tradition we want to have every Christmas Eve.

Christmas morning we got to talk on Skype with Brad's brother in Guatemala and Brad's family in Ohio.
It was fun getting to open presents in front of each other on camera.
We then headed to my parents' house where all my siblings and their children/dogs were too.
It was seriously chaos.
It was so much fun though.
People were running around with babies and dogs and opening presents.
So crazy but I loved it!
Jerry and Mindee bought a Santa outfit for Will and he looked adorable in it!
Here is our first Christmas together!

Will was loving his life even though he didn't know what was going on.
He is such a smiley baby.
Sometimes it brings tears to my eyes when he smiles.
He is so innocent and so pure.
He is the best Christmas present I could ever ask for.

Mindy and George were also in town and it was fun because we all got to live at my parents' together for a few days.
We don't get to see them very often so anytime that we have with them is precious.
They were obsessed with Will and I hope that it has inspired them to give Will a cousin ;)
haha

I apologize for the length of this post but I just had to put a lot of what we've been up to.
I feel so blessed to have such wonderful families who make life exciting.
The day after Christmas I snapped this picture of Brad and Will taking a nap.
Isn't it the cutest thing you've ever seen?
They were so exhausted from Christmas Day.
I love my boys so much and I loved our first Christmas together.
That's all for now!

Excited

Today was a good day for so many reasons and I got so excited thinking about the following things:

1. Mindy and George are coming to town!
I haven't seen George and Mindy together since their wedding in June.
They haven't even seen Will yet!
I'm so excited but kind of sad too because it's probably the last time my siblings and their spouses and all of us will be together for the holidays for a long, long time.
It will be fun nonetheless. :)

2. Will has been sleeping so well this week.
I've been able to get so much more housework and working out done.
He's only been waking up once a night and he even took a 3 hour nap this afternoon.
I had so much time I didn't know what to do!
I'm excited because I'm hoping that we are finally getting some sort of routine figured out.

3. My husband Brad will be done with school tomorrow!
He will officially be a BYU graduate.
I can't wait to spend more time with him now that he won't have to study all night every night.
I'm so excited to spend our first Christmas together as a little family.
It will be so much fun with Will even though he won't know what's going on :)

4. Last but not least I am excited to see my little Mongolian greenie from my mission.
Her name is Uurtsaikh Tumir-Ochir and I love her dearly.
Her fiance lives in Utah and she is spending the holidays here in Utah.
I haven't seen her since February 2008 so I am definitely excited!

That's all for now!

Update

This last week was a good one.
I got to go to the restaurant 2 times and see my family.
I went shopping at J.Crew with my mom and bought a few cute items.
(I definitely needed some clothes for the in-between weight stage that I'm in.)
I went to lunch with a couple of my college friends and their adorable children.
I went to Brad's work party on Friday and Will behaved himself perfectly.
I worked out twice and my muscles were nice and sore.
We made it through all 3 hours of church today with no problems from Will.
My parents and sister-in-law Anne came to visit us today.
We put up our Christmas tree today while listening to old school Christmas music.
It's been a wonderful week!

Here is the update on my pregnancy weight loss endeavors:
I haven't been able to weigh myself and I'm kind of confused because I have weighed differently on different scales.
I can say though that I'm down about 30 pounds since I was pregnant.
I still have a few more to shed though. :)
I also wanted to reiterate that I'm not obsessing with my weight but more on how in shape I can get myself now that I've had a baby.
It's going to be a lot of fun.
I'm very tempted to sign up for a triathlon or half marathon to motivate me to get going.
It's just hard knowing if we'll still be here in Provo or Utah in the next 6 months.

This week is Brad's last week of finals and then he is graduated!
I can't wait to spend more time with him during the holidays.
Well I better go to bed now!
That's all for now!

Biggest Loser

If you've read my blog before you know that one of my favorite TV shows of all time is
THE BIGGEST LOSER.
I love how the show promotes good fitness and healthy eating habits.
I've never had a desire to be obese or anything like that but I always thought that it would be fun to push myself and see how much weight I could lose if I really worked at it.
Before I got pregnant I didn't have anything to lose but now that I've had William I'm definitely excited to do my own version of THE BIGGEST LOSER.
I thought it would be fun to put my progress on my blog to motivate me and maybe some of you that read my blog.
I'm not going to be shy about pounds and my weight and that because I have nothing to be embarrassed about.
Pregnancy does that to you right?
Monday is going to be my 6 week check up and I will finally be able to exercise.
It will be tricky trying to find time with a newborn and a restricted schedule.
I also won't be able to go on any special diet because I'm nursing and I have to eat at least 1,800 calories a day.
My plan of attack is using an app. on my iphone called "My FitnessPal."
It's awesome.
It helps me record how many calories I'm eating, how much water I'm drinking and how many calories I'm burning.
I also want to note that it's not necessarily all about getting skinny and losing weight.
It's all about being healthy and having something fun to work towards.
If any of you have any suggestions or any pieces of advice feel free to let me know!
Here goes nothing!
Wish me luck!
